Boston Hassle Telethon: Station Hours & Volunteer Opportunities

Hi all,

You may have heard that we are hosting again the 2nd Annual 24-Hour Boston Hassle Performance Arts Marathon (Jerry Lewis telethon style!) at SCATV Friday, April 7th at 10am – Saturday, April 8th at 10am. This is exciting and we wanted to address the change in our hours of operation during this event.

Volunteer Opportunities

Main Studio:

We are definitely still looking for some members to help volunteer during the telethon. If you are interested please email me and we will connect you with the Boston Hassle Volunteer Coordinator to schedule you in their schedule.

Boston Free Radio Volunteer Tasks:

Are you a BFR member that wants to volunteer during the telethon? Please email Heather McCormack at hmack@scatvsomerville.org. Some needs for help are:

  • to live broadcast the audio from the telethon
  • to occasionally be used as an additional television studio, by switching on the camera and going “live” in studio interviewing guests, musicians, etc. —in case we need filler or just to enhance the program
